The price of that lease is determined by a combination of the size of the file and the lease term. While the lease is active, the network ensures that the file is pinned sufficiently to be available and not run the risk of becoming unavailable. Users can renew their lease, query their lease, or let it expire, in which case the file is no longer pinned and availability guarantees go away and the file can become evicted at the discretion of the storage provider.

Storage Nodes

The Bluzelle ecosystem empowers individuals to become active participants in the storage network through the deployment of storage nodes. This aspect of DePIN democratizes access to digital infrastructure, allowing anyone with a computer or mobile device to run a node and earn rewards in the form of BLZ tokens. This will work on any operating system: Windows, Mac, Linux, Android or iOS. Once it is installed and a user provides their Bluzelle wallet address, their device becomes a “JIT” (just in time) storage node service provider. This operation is comparable to an Ethereum PoS validator client app, that anybody can install on a PC these days, and start to earn fractional amounts of ETH proportional to the uptime they provide. Further scope here to provide some base imagery that, combined with AI, can generate the imagery for all the NFT’s “assembled” by the factory. For example, “here is an image of one of the characters — adjust his height to be between 48 inches and 76 inches and vary his shirt across these colors randomly with a focus on neon colors”.
